Maruja on ABS CBN

Kristine Hermosa will potray the title role in Maruja, an upcoming sineserye only on ABS-CBN. Maruja is a classical film starred by Susan Roces back in 1967.

Aside from Kristine Hermosa, Maruja will also feature other returning Kapamilya star like John Estrada, Gloria Romero, Rafael Rosell, and new Kapamilya Karylle. The hit loveteam of Kristine Hermosa & Jericho Rosales will also return on another ABS-CBN series later this year.

Angel Locsin & Sam Milby - 'Buhay ng Buhay Ko'

After doing her first movie with Piolo Pascual entitled “Love Me Again (Land Down Under),” Angel Locsin will now be paired with Sam Milby in their upcoming television series entitled “Buhay ng Buhay Ko.” to be aired in ABS-CBN.

Angel Locsin talked about this project during her interview on “Boy & Kris.” Angel Locsin had already worked with Sam Milby in an episode of “Maalala Mo kaya” last October 2007.

In January of 2006, Guji ventured to Manila. In only a matter of months a self-titled CD Lite/EP was released (distributed by Ivory Records) with "I'll Be Yours Forever" composed by Ogie Alcasid as the carrier single. The music video features Lougee of MOJOFLY as his leading lady.

Guji's latest full-length album entitled "Without Your Love" is currently available under AniraK Records (subsidiary of LuKas Music

Philippines, distributed by Synergy Music Corp). The music video for "Tagumpay" (directed by Paul Soriano) was shot in scenic Ilocos, and features Veronica Scott of the Kitty Girls (Philippine Girl Pop Group).

Guji's latest single, "Kasalanan Ba?" is currently being aired on MYX and MTV Philippines, and features Philippines TV personality Patty Laurel as Guji's leading lady. The video is directed by Enzo Valdez.

Guji was just launched as one of Star Magic Batch 16 talents.

First of all, Xian’s real name is Alex and he is a complete and utter douchebag!!! Synopsis:
SARAH is 30 years old. She is intelligent and quite capable, but jobless because she can never get down to actually getting things done. She and boyfriend Melvin have lived together ever since senior year, when Sarah took him in after he lost all his money in a pool game. The story begins with Melvin passing his CPA exams, and coming home to tell Sarah that he has found his true love while he was away.

After she gets dumped by her boyfriend, Sarah sets out to find the woman who stole his heart, Melissa. While at the cosmetic company Melissa works in, an ad for a sales clerk catches her eye. She fakes being her 20 year old little sister, and starts working as a sales clerk at the company, determined to find out more about Melissa and to win Melvin back.

At work, she meets Denis, a former soccer player who is your typical arrogant jock. Denis is actually the son of the vice president of the company, and is only working at his mother’s company because he needs the money for the hospital bills of a kid named Bong Chang. Sarah and Denis’ personalities clash, and the two always get into fights. Eventually, Sarah and Denis start falling for each other. Sarah also finds out that Denis is in love with Melissa, the very woman who stole her ex-boyfriend Melvin’s heart.

It turns out that Melissa is actually in love with Denis, but was already involved in an affair with In Chang, Denis’ older brother. When In Chang found out about Melissa’s feelings towards his younger brother, he drives off in anger and dies in a car accident. Wracked with guilt, Melissa gets into a relationship with Melvin simply because she wanted somebody “safe” to love. When Melvin finds out about this, he is heartbroken and his relationship with Melissa comes to an end. When Sarah learns about this, she finds that winning Melvin back isn’t exactly what she wanted anymore…

Hanggang April na lang daw ang taping ng Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang. After daw ng isang closed-door meeting ng mga top GMA execs e nadecide na nga nilang paiksiin na lang ang show kasi daw, kahit anong lipat ng timeslot hindi tumataas ang rating. Imagine, two points lang ang itinaas sa rating nang agahan ang timeslot?

Heard din namin na last na ito ni Direk Joyce Bernal sa GMA (unless magkaroon ulit ng offer ang GMA na
‘di na naman niya ma-refuse). Sabi rin ng diehard Marian-Dingdong fan na very reliable, ‘di rin daw happy si Direk Joyce sa naging performance ng show, dahil na rin hindi popular ang material.

‘Di daw happy ang mga execs talaga sa show dahil supposedly, after ng dalawang teleseryes na isang remake at isang fantaserye, ang “tadyang” dapat ang magiging acting piece na ng dalawang bida at supposedly ang magbibigay sa kanila ng critical acclaim. THEY FAILED in their expectations, ayon pa rin sa source.

At pahuling say ng aming source, ibabalik na lang ulit sila sa fantaserye genre, dahil hanggang dun lang ata talaga ang kakayahan nila, ni Marian particularly, lalo na’t nagkakaedad na siya, at baka di na maprolong ang star power.
Ang sad naman ng realizations nila.
